Es ein internationales Vergn\u00fcgungsviertel und gilt als beliebtes Ziel bei Touristen, vor allem bei j\u00fcngeren Reisenden nach Taipeh. In Ximending gab es seit den sp\u00e4ten 1990er Jahren die erste Fu\u00dfg\u00e4ngerzone von Taipeh. Erinnert ein bisschen an den Time Square.
